12 years working as a bookkeeper/accountant for family businesses ranging from 2 - 600 employees. Began my own bookkeeping business in January 2013 specialising in Xero accounting software providing bookkeeping and add-on software solutions to clients of up to 100 employees Australia wide.

I began my bookkeeping career in 2001 learning how to do the books for my parents' business. During this time I was mentored by their accountant and did many MYOB training courses. I moved on to work for larger family businesses, also learning how to use Reckon, (formerly QuickBooks accounting software), eventually working as an Assistant Accountant for a company with nearly 600 staff.

After being made redundant, I found the courage to step out and start my own business. I discovered Xero cloud accounting software around this time and immediately discovered the advantages that it offers over traditional desktop software, which had been slow to innovate without the threat of a fast-moving competitor.

I now have a growing team of staff that servicing clients around Australia using Xero cloud accounting software and various add-on solutions.
